What if the mother or baby becomes unwell during postpartum care?

Severe maternal bleeding, difficulty breathing, severe headache or vision changes, and a newborn with abnormal breathing or difficulty waking require immediate emergency assessment. Use emergency services, including 119 in Korea, and alert staff immediately. Fever in mother or baby and poor newborn feeding also need prompt clinical assessment. Do not delay care for center observation or chat advice.
