Must I register as a foreign resident if treatment requires more than 90 days?

As a general rule, a person staying more than 90 days from entry must complete foreigner registration within 90 days of entry. Statutory exceptions and registration timing after a domestic status change require separate confirmation. A long-term visa does not automatically complete registration.
